Join Hands Ministry’s Back to School program supports youth in need by providing essential items such as clothing, new sneakers, winter coats, backpacks, and school supplies. This initiative helps ease the financial strain on families, allowing students to begin the school year with confidence and focus on their education.
By equipping youth with necessary resources, the program promotes academic success, boosts self-esteem, and fosters a positive start to the school year.
While most people are thinking about the
school year ending, Join Hands Ministry and Bread of Life Outreach are gearing up for back-to-school and this year is going to be the best year yet!
In 2023, JHM and Bread of Life Outreach
partnered to increase the capacity of the
back-to-school programs. In 2024, the West
Perry Parent Teacher Organization joined our
team. Joining in the event this year are all
four school districts’ PTOs and the Salvation
Army. Together we are providing a one-stop
shopping experience to combat financial and
transportation barriers.
As the program grows, one thing remains the same – students will be provided with the opportunity to receive new sneakers, coats, clothing, and back-to-school supplies.

Support the Back-to-School Program
Though the organizational partnerships have grown over the years, it is impossible
without the support of our donors to make the event successful. If anyone is interested in donating items for the back-to-school program, we will start accepting donations
on Monday, June 16th. For donations dropped off between the hours of 3pm and 5pm, we encourage you to call our office
and let us know so we can make sure a staff member is available to help you at our back door.
