The Join Hands Ministry Christmas Program ensures that children from struggling families and elderly individuals experience joy, care, and a sense of community during the holiday season. This program facilitates sponsor-recipient pairings that result in meaningful gift-giving, community awareness and connections, and spreads joy and compassion.
What are the eligibility requirements?
Any Perry County resident is welcome to apply for our Christmas Program. To ensure fairness and accountability, applicants are required to provide the following: valid driver’s license, proof of address, custody documents (as needed), and any other document that may be requested.
*Please note that all applications undergo thorough vetting, and acceptance into the program is not guaranteed. We reserve the right to deny applicants based on various criteria.

Is there an age limitation for the program?
Yes, we offer the Christmas program to children ages newborn through 14 years old.
What if I have children over the age of 15 years?
Join Hands Ministry collaborates with other organizations to ensure that every child no matter the age has a joyous Christmas. If you need these resources, please contact our office.
When does the application open? When does the application close?
Each year the application to apply for the Christmas program opens the beginning of October and closes October 31st. Please be sure to check our website and social media outlets for specific dates.
I see that elderly individuals are supported too. Is there an application to apply for this program?
No. Join Hands Ministry coordinates with the Office of Aging and local rehabilitation centers to serve the elderly.
I would like to be a sponsor. What do I need to know?
We are glad to hear you are interested in providing joy to your neighbors. To become a sponsor you will need to complete an online application. The application opens mid-September and will close when all participants are paired with a sponsor. Please keep an eye out for the application to sign up as a sponsor.
