Our annual Back-to-School event looked a little different this year as we teamed up with Bread of Life Outreach (BOLO) and the New Bloomfield Elementary PTO to provide Perry County students with school supplies, sneakers, clothing, and coats. Additionally, Perry County teachers and homeschooling parents were able to stock their classrooms with school supplies.
This year we were able to provide school supplies and clothing to 437 students! We are thrilled to have been able to provide 87% of those students with brand new sneakers and 71% of the students with new coats for winter.
We want to thank BOLO and the New Bloomfield Elementary PTO for teaming up with us to bring our vision for this program to fruition. Thank you to Shollenberger, Januzzi, and Wolfe, Delta Dental, and Dollar General for your generous gifts to support the teachers and students of Perry County. Finally, we want to thank all of the churches, individuals, volunteers, and resource vendors who donated money, supplies, and/or time.
